A weekly collection of photos from the center of my home.
Pretty much everyday at the cottage there is a salad for lunch and now with fresh greens :)
First squash of the season.
I actually made real potato salad. I usually make it with cauliflower instead of potatoes. So it was a real treat especially with fresh green onions from the garden.
My daughter has been wanting to do a juice fasting, so I joined her.
My other daughter made these almond flour chocolate chip cookie bars. They made juice fasting very difficult!
My only peony so far.
These horsemint grows wild.
OHMYGOSH what lovely vivid colors. And yum!
ReplyDeleteI need to try your salad combo...wow, I bet that is delicious. Beautiful peony. Good luck with the juice fast.

Absolutely beautiful! Peonies always make me think of my mother, so I'm terribly fond of them!
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely photos. Peonies are such gorgeous flowers, always make me a little nostalgic for my childhood home. Have fun with the juice fast!

ReplyDeleteI love your photos! The juice looks good, so do the cookies. But your last photo of the horsemint.... oh my! What a beautiful flower!
ReplyDeleteI have peony envy! Every year I have beautiful, full plants but no flowers! Sigh... potato salad is my favorite summertime side dish. Next week I will make one!
ReplyDeleteNice photos and a lovely atmosphere! Also here in Italy we love potato salad, my husband loves to bring it with him for job - lunch! Happy weekend, Valeria
